Dr. Arvind Bhatt is working in Department of Mathematics, School of Science, Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Distt- Nainital (Uttarakhand). Dr. Bhatt has completed Ph. D. in Mathematics in 2009 from Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. His work area of research was fixed point theory. His current area of interests is Fixed point theory, Optimization, Functional analysis and Applied Mathematics.
He has more than Thirteen years of teaching and research experience in various organizations of repute for PG & UG courses of Mathematics. He is also associated with many renowned National/International Journals as Lead Guest Editor/reviewer/editorial board member. Around 21 International Journal research publications are credited to him. He is member of Board of Studies Department of Mathematics, Uttarakhand open university and Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology, Dwarahat, Almora, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradune. Dr.Bhatt worked as a lecturer of Mathematics in Krishna Institute of Management and Technology, Moradabad, (Krishna group) UP Technical University, Lucknow .Worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in Moradabad Institute of Technology, UP Technical University, Lucknow . Worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in Applied science Department,BipinTripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology (Kumaon engineering college) Dwarahat, Almora, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradune. Present time Dr.Bhatt Working as an Associate Professor of Mathematics in Department of Mathematics, School of Science, Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. He has published two books Engineering Mathematics Volume-I and Existence of common Fixed Points in Generalized Metric Spaces. He has published patent namely ‘Detection and enhancement of medical images using deep learning’,.
Research Areas : Fixed point theory, Optimization, Functional analysis and Applied Mathematics.
Award and Fellowship: Awarded UGC-DST central university fellowship from 1 st Jan, 2007 – 20 nd Feb, 2009.
Dr.Arvind Bhatt is a life time member of Bharat Ganit Parisad(Lucknow), Ramanujan Mathematical Society , Indian Mathematical Society and has an annual membership of American Mathematical Society.
